Slightly more then a year before the completion of the 2006 batch, Joel Hercek had an idea to produce a very ambitious batch of cues. Each cue, as always, would be a one-of-a-kind and would run the gamut from basic to stretching the limits of his capabilities. Each year Hercek tries to push the envelope on design and construction. He spent several months working on a new technique to refine the veneers and full splice construction, for which Hercek is known.  Joel also implemented a new engraving technique, which gives him the ability to expand his artisanship in this batch and moving forward. Hercek was encouraged by a good friend to document each batch of cues. Originally it was to be in book format, but online delivery posed too many advantages to ignore.
